269. Talk About Your Book to People
Show Notes

If you’re thinking of writing a book or have started writing a book, chances are that you’re doing so out of a mission to change the world. Chances are that you’re solving a problem or a need for other people. Chances are, too, some people are starving for the book you’re writing or are about to write. As such, you should talk about your book publicly. You should let people know you are working on your book. Talking about your book is positive for two reasons. 1) It makes people anticipate it. 2) It keeps you motivated and helps you grow. By talking about your book, you can tell people’s excitement about it and you can collect important feedback on your angle. You can find new perspectives and approaches to your topic. Writing is a dialogue, not a monologue.
